Healthy Universities: Notification of Forthcoming Events in 2012

The Royal College of Psychiatrists have published their report 'Mental Health of Students in Higher Education'.  A copy may be downloaded from here.

The MWBHE Working Group undertook a second survey of UK Higher Education mental health policies and practices in 2008. The results of this survey, which update the 2003 survey, will be published in summer 2011. Preliminary results were presented at our April 2009 conference (see Conferences & Events page).

The Chair of the University Mental Health Advisers Network  (UMHAN) has recently published a Policy Paper on Examinations and Students with Mental Health Difficulties. This provides very useful guidance for all those involved in making examination arrangements for students experiencing mental health difficulties. 

The Final National Research and Development Project on Healthy Universities published its Final Report in January 2009. The aim of the project was to report on the 'potential for a national programme on Healthy Universities that could contribute to health, well-being and sustainable development'.  The MWBHE Working Group was represented on the Project's Advisory Board.
